I grew up seeing purple everywhere. My mother was your biggest fan and took any opportunity to order flowers in her favorite purple packages. She especially loved your HWY 55 (at 169) store because it was close, and always had wonderful garden and gift ideas for her. We lost her 7 years ago to cancer. We have a florist in the family, but because of her love of Bachman's, he didn't take offense when many of us ordered funeral flowers from you instead. The Bachman's name has always been near and dear to Minnesotan's, and we all felt a great loss when Todd's life was taken from all of us. I pray for continued healing for your family.

To the Bachman family-Even though our meeting was brief as we stood in line at the Bird's Nest in Beijing, we could tell that you are a wonderful, loving family. We were so sad when we heard the news about Todd-ever since then we have thought of you often and prayed for you. We pray that Barbara is recovering well and that Elizabeth is well. We will keep you in our prayers. We just wanted you to know that we were praying and thinking of your family-Carla and Rob Matteucci

When I heard of the attack that took Todd and left a hole in the Bachman family, my heart ached. When I later heard that Barbara, who went back to help, is an AOII, my first thought was "How do I help?" I realized that all I could do to help is to express my sorrow for your loss and my wishes for Barbara's speedy recovery. Alpha Love

While I don't know the Bachman family personally, I quickly saw by example and courage how wonderful this family is, especially in such sad circumstances. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your father touched many people from all walks of life according to everyone, and he was a good, honorable and decent man. I hope your mother is recovering from her injuries, and I hope all of the rest of the family and Bachman's employees will remember Todd Bachman's strength of character and dedication to the business. His presence lives on with the fine company and people of Bachman's, and in his daughters, sons-in-laws and wife. God bless you all.

My heart has been heavy since your loss...you have been in my thoughts daily. Barb, I am so happy to hear of your increasing strength. When my mom, Marlene, worked with you at Christina Huddleston, she often spoke of your kindness and spirit. Wiz, You are one of the nicest, most genuine people I remember in high school. Thank you so much for being such a strong Christian family, and such a wonderful example for everyone. All the best. Lori
